New To AdWords?

AdWords is the name of Google’s sponsored advertising system.

When you search for something on Google, you will see the ‘natural’ or ‘organic’ listings in the main section. These are pages that Google thinks are relevant to the search, and if you get listed on the first page for an in-demand search phrase, then you’re very lucky.

At the top and the right hand side of the page, you’ll see the sponsored listings – this is the AdWords system. The advertiser pay Google a small amount each time someone ‘clicks’ on their ad. But, the advertiser is also able to control what the ad says, where it shows, at what time of day, and for what search phrases. If your site is good enough, and your produce or service compelling enough for people to want, then AdWords is a very profitable and manageable way to reach your target market.

Is AdWords Expensive?

Some businesses spend £1000’s a month (even per day) on Google AdWords clicks. However, they wouldn’t be doing so unless those clicks were turning into sales. When an AdWords account is managed properly, the whole idea is that it pays for itself through increased sales.

With professional AdWords Management, your AdWords Manager will work with you to ensure things are working – your website may need improving for example. If you aren’t profiting from AdWords then something needs to be changed.
